How to measure your piercing jewelry
You can measure for piercing jewelry with a few items you already have at home, follow the instructions below to measure for huggie hoop earrings or piercing studs.
To measure for hoops, you’ll need a small strip of paper, a marker, and a ruler. Line up the edge of the paper with the outside of your ear and extend it toward your piercing. Mark the paper with the location of your piercing and use your ruler to measure the distance in mm. Add 1mm for a snug fit, or 2mm for a loose fit.
To measure for studs, insert a standard earring post into your piercing and mark it with your preferred length. Upon removal, use a ruler to measure the length in mm. When in doubt, size up to ensure a comfortable fit.

I am so happy to have found a hoop that is offered in 11 mm for the conch piercing! In the U.S. it seems you only have the option for 10 or 12. Not only does the 11 mm fit snug (with some wiggle room) it is 14k solid gold! I've slept with it in with absolutely no problems! I'm one of those girlies that simply wants a cute curated ear that I can leave as is and sleep in. It being a 16G I was worried it would look too thick, but it's perfect! Worth every penny! Thank you!
